At present, the rehabilitation equipment industry has realized the transformation from a single prosthetic orthosis to a comprehensive rehabilitation aid. The service objects of the industry have also expanded from the original disabled servicemen and the ordinary disabled to the elderly, the injured and other people with physical and mental disabilities. The product categories have basically met the needs of the disabled in work, life, communication and health. At present, China produces more than 65000 prosthetic limbs, more than 110000 orthopedic shoes, more than 120000 orthopedic appliances and more than 3 million wheelchairs every year. A number of internationally popular modern rehabilitation aids products have also been promoted and applied in China.
