Jianfan Biology is a A-share GEM listed company and the only listed company in the field of blood perfusion in China.

It is worth noting that the products for which Jianfan Biology applies for price reduction are the company's main products.

Taking the latest data as an example, Jianfan Biology achieved a total operating revenue of 328 million yuan in the first half of 2017, up 26.38% year on year. Among them, the company's sales revenue of disposable hemoperfusion products was 306 million yuan, accounting for more than 93%.

HA resin hemoperfusion has always been the main source of income and profit for Jianfan Biotech, and its growth rate is also very fast.

It is reported that this is the original product of China and the result of the cooperation between Jianfan Biology and Nankai University. It has won the second prize of Tianjin Science and Technology Progress Award, and has also been listed in the National Key New Products, National 863 Key Projects, National Torch Program, National Natural Science Foundation Major Projects, and won the second prize of 2009 National Science and Technology Progress Award.

Up to now, the domestic manufacturers that have received the approval documents for hemoperfusion products from the State Food and Drug Administration include Tianjin Yangquan Medical Equipment Co., Ltd., Zibo Kangbei Medical Equipment Co., Ltd., Foshan Boxin Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Langfang Aier Blood Purification Equipment Factory, Tianjin Zibo High-tech Co., Ltd., and Chongqing Hilkang Blood Purification Equipment Research and Development Co., Ltd.

Among them, Hokai, another A-share listed medical equipment company, nearly won Tianjin Yangquan Medical Equipment Co., Ltd., showing strong interest in this field.

However, the above-mentioned companies have not been able to cause significant competitive pressure on Jianfan Biotech. It is reported that the blood perfusion products of Jianfan Biology have always had a high market share in China, ranking first in the industry.

Who knows why such a major product with a leading share of the original research and market has taken the initiative to apply for price reduction?

In addition, in late September of this year, Yangzhou Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission of Jiangsu Province also issued a notice that the price of three quality specifications of "Agfa dry film" was to be lowered in the city.

The notice said that the price reduction was applied for by the production and operation enterprises. However, WeChat later reported that there was another "Jianghu" behind the price reduction. It was suspected that the manufacturer and the agent broke up.

By comparison, the price reduction of Jianfan Biological in Anhui Province should be the initiative of the real manufacturer.

It seems that the active price reduction mode of medical consumables is really about to start.
